Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of RelationshipXP. By creating an account, joining a paired space, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms in your location. If you are not old enough to enter a binding agreement, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms where permitted.

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless prohibited by law.

Pairing codes are intended for the partner you choose to invite. Do not post a pairing code publicly or use a code to access a space without permission.

RelationshipXP is designed for two paired partners. Content you add to shared features may be shown to your paired partner and may become part of shared records such as the Memory Book, progress, streaks, quests, or achievements.

Mutual reveal means one partner’s equivalent contribution is not shown early. Product behavior may evolve, but we will not intentionally turn shared activity into a public leaderboard or partner comparison.

You may not use RelationshipXP to:

• Break the law or violate another person’s rights.
• Harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, stalk, or surveil another person.
• Upload content without the necessary rights or consent, including another person’s private image.
• Share sexual content involving minors or any material that exploits or endangers a child.
• Attempt to bypass security, access another shared space, disrupt the service, scrape data, or introduce malicious code.
• Use the service for spam, fraud, or unauthorized commercial use.

You retain ownership of content you create and submit. You give RelationshipXP a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, protect, and improve the service and provide shared features to you and your paired partner.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content. Please be thoughtful when adding sensitive information to a shared space, because your paired partner may retain what they can view.

RelationshipXP is a shared ritual and progression app. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care, crisis support, legal advice, or a clinical relationship assessment. XP, levels, streaks, skills, and achievements describe activity in the app; they do not measure the quality, safety, or health of a relationship.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, security concerns, or events outside our control. We do not promise that every feature or item of content will always remain available.

You may stop using RelationshipXP at any time. We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to protect people or the service, comply with law, investigate suspected abuse, or address a material violation of these Terms.

Ending access may affect content and progress in a paired space. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

To the extent permitted by law, RelationshipXP is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free results.

To the extent permitted by law, RelationshipXP and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from another user’s conduct, unavailable content, or unauthorized access outside our reasonable control. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits may not apply to you.

We may update these Terms as the service changes. If an update is material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived in your location.
